To build pride and to help teach young men and women personal values and to build self esteem. To demonstrate and highlight these values as basis for adulthood, to recognize Home Town Heroes like teachers and veterans in the local community – Honesty, integrity, education.

Hooks For Books Goals
To teach young men and women how to set and reach personal goals. To counsel and highlight their goals or ambitions that they might find through this activity. Joining hands with schools and business in each county to open doors and opportunities and not limit the dreams of the youth of today.

The Benefits of Hooks For Books
No one loses when their spirit and ambitions run so high just to compete. The winner and runner-up in each division will receive medals. Team trophies and special awards as well as the honor of competing in the Hooks for Books program will be just a part of the participant’s benefits.
